Bay Fire Department is not responsible for anything you are hearing on this feed. Furthermore Bay Fire Department is not responsible for the content listed on the page or any other page listed on the bayfiredepartment.org domain.  With Icecast and SimpleCast the feed audio is received by you in near-realtime. However with the audio only feed (Winamp, Windows Media, Real Player, etc.) there is a slight delay (average of about ten seconds) from the time the radio receives the audio until the time you hear it. This is inevitable due to the processing and transferal of the signal. Remember, you are listening to a scanner. Unfortunately you don't have control of stopping it for the "hot" calls. No way around that one, gang. Sorry! The special event feed may be activated to cover a "hot" event, provided I am in the radio room to do so.  Enjoy!
